A "Taker" Dies - Republicans Rejoice

Every day I wonder what the Republicans really – really want to happen to the people that they label as “takers”.  Because, basically if you take away the services that these people need – they die.

So I guess the triumph, from a Republican point of view is when “takers” die.
Republicans have lost their moral compass – with their only focus being on $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$’s.

Maybe – just maybe, it is OUR moral obligation to constantly publicly challenge this Republican disregard for their fellow citizens.  If WE do not challenge the words and images Republicans put out to the press - WE are also guilty of disregard for our fellow citizens.  It is our duty and responsibility to others to show that the Republican "taker" way of thinking is wrong.

Disregard and disdain by Republicans – not only to the “takers”, but to the families of “takers”.

“My job is not to worry about those people,” Mitt Romney said of the 47 percent of Americans who are likely to vote for Barack Obama. “I’ll never convince them they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives.”

In his comments, Romney says that “these are people who pay no income tax,” but they are people “who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it.”

“We’re dismayed at the injustice that nearly half of all Americans don’t even pay any income tax,” Texas Gov. Rick Perry said when he began his presidential campaign.

“People who pay nothing can easily forget the idea that there is no such thing as a free lunch,” warned Rep. Michelle Bachmann.

"Those people" - those takers

He's talking, of course, about the Peggy the Moochers and Henrietta Hugheses of the world     And he's talking about the encrusted entitlement clientele who range from the Section 8 housing mob

Paul Ryan:
Right now, according to the Tax Foundation, between 60 and 70 percent of Americans getmore benefits from the government than they pay back in taxes. So, we're getting towards a society where we have a net majority of takers versus makers.

“The Takers”
The bane of the Republican Party.
The “takers” epitomize everything that is wrong in the USA to Republicans.

A “Taker” Biography
Worked for 40 years.
Then suffered a series of strokes and heart attacks
Then Parkinson’s disease
Confined to a wheel chair

Had to fight bureaucratic red-tape just to get Social Security Disability
He paid no income tax
Later
Was on Medicare
Was a client of Wisconsin’s FamilyCare program
Lived in Section 8 housing
Didn't have a computer, couldn't afford the internet,
couldn't leave his apartment easily
  - which made it nearly impossible for him to
  - get/monitor his services, cause everything is web based
At no time during his worklife - did he expect to be confined to a wheelchair and to not be able to work.  At no time in his life did he ever expect that a stranger would come over to his apartment multiple times a day to change his diaper and to give him his baths.

The type of person the Republicans have disdain for.
The type of person that the Republicans vilify whenever they can.

A taker
He wasn't a victim
He wished he could be at work rather than in his wheelchair
He was embarrassed that he needed help from others.

He was a "taker"
He was my brother.
He died yesterday.

My brother was a “taker”.

And somewhere an immoral Republican rejoices over his death.
One less "taker".

In memory of my brother - my wish is this entry go viral - just because.
